Third Monday Market Update

Attached is the Absorption Rate Sheet.

 

Good evening,

 

The number of sales and the number of active listings continue to rise. At the same time, the number of properties Under Contract continue to rise. These figures show a slight increase in the current Absorption Rate.  We are still very much ahead of last years sales figures and just behind the figures of 2007 & 2008.

 

We can expect to see this trend continue for the next few months as we are nearing the end of summer and the beginning of Fall.

First Monday Market Update

Happy Fourth of July (belated),

 

There has been a little more activity as we concluded the second quarter of the year and indications are good that we will continue to see our market conditions improve as we headed into the busy season for our area. July through most of October is the busiest time for most of our market. The Absorption Rate is a little higher than earlier this year, but is down compared to this time last year.

 

Again, we are over 25% ahead of property transactions from last year and only about 10% behind 2008.
