First Monday Market Updates - Marc White

Good afternoon,

 

We are starting to see a little more relief from our previous Absorption Rate numbers. While we still have a way to go, recent properties that Sold or have been placed Under Contract, continue to give us an optimistic outlook for the Fall season. All indications seem to suggest that two things are going to happen, the government is going to complete a deal to prevent financial default by the US, and soon interest rates will start to rise. There have been many buyers “waiting” to see what was going to happen with the US debt, and we should see the results from these “waiters” in the next two weeks.

 

We continue to see strong sales figures across the board, and expect this to continue, we have several years of inventory remaining.
