Hello,
We continue to see higher sales in our market for the second half of this year. The number of sales in larger price brackets continue to rise as the year progresses. Heading into winter, the conventional wisdom suggests we will see a large drop at the beginning of the year, but with the number of properties headed towards or are already in Foreclosure, I see this number holding steady (maybe not exactly the same, but closer than in previous years). A few reasons are that buyers are anticipating these opportunities to purchase discounted properties, the banks are lending at all time lows, and buyers are starting to position their money for anticipatd returns in the real estate market as things begin to swing back around.
