First Monday - High County Market Update

Good Evening,

With major events continuing to consume our national attention, Hurricane Sandy, the storm in the Northwest, and the recent election, it has been great to read reports that continue to indicate growth. Albeit a slow grow in our area, but a growth nonetheless. Our mid-November pending sales are more than 10% ahead of last year, while year to date sales continue to show about 30% ahead of last year.

Existing homes sales are up over 2% nationally. Lawrence Yun, NAR chief economist, "Home sales continue to trend up and most October transactions were completed by the time the storm hit, but the growing demand with limited inventory is pressuring home prices in much of the country."
