Third Monday - High County Market Update

Good Evening,

We have had a very light winter…at least we HAD a light winter. This week we have several days with low temperature forecasts in the single digits and wind chills below zero. This is going to make for some harsh weather for any buyer looking at property. That being said, I still see movement across our market. Looking over the Market Update, we continue to chisel away, every so slightly at the dip we took a few years ago. Our year in sales numbers are in for 2012 and they were pretty consistent for the last few months giving us a nice boost back towards the market we much more desire. As you have probably already noticed, the "shadow inventory" market (foreclosed properties not yet listed) is dwindling down.

There is a great article on my website (MarcWhiteHomes.com/TransferOfOwnership), that pertains to many property owners in our area. Also, keep coming back to my website, as we are beginning a new series using You-Tube to help explain some of the recent changes to the real estate market (of course, I will send you links once the videos start to be posted).

To see additional articles pertaining to decisions made by our government, and current news, take a minute to look at …www.MarcWhiteHomes.com.
