As you have probably heard, home prices across the country are still going up. In our market, we are still seeing small movements up and down with our average sale (and median sale) prices. We have had several weeks of unfavorable weather, but forecasters predict this is coming to and end sooner rather than later. Internet traffic and activity across the board remain strong and steady, which indicates a good second quarter for the year.

Another home price index is showing home prices surging: CoreLogic's home price index shows that home prices nationwide in January rose 9.7 percent year-over-year, posting their largest percentage increase since April 2006.
