First Monday - High Country Market Update

Good Evening,

All across the nation you hear the rumblings that the real estate market is getting better (that prices are starting to rebound). While that is true, we have seen a small drop in active properties Under Contract and internet traffic remains somewhat stagnant compared to the previous 4 weeks. I attribute a little of this to several factors. First the recent snow and rough weather for the High Country. Secondly, everyone has been focused on Spring Break, and as we are in the scramble of Spring Break for most of North Carolina, I expect to see these numbers rise back up quickly. My previous statements from last month still hold true, I expect (and the numbers indicate) a good second quarter to this year.
