You may notice that all of our Absorption numbers are a little higher than the previous Update, but the number of properties Under Contract have risen back higher than a year ago. With the amount of snow and showing cancellations that we have had this year, thus far, these are great indicators.
The below table is our year to date, but with the 15th of the month falling on a Saturday, I expect to see that we will be at or above the 106 sales number we saw last year. The North Carolina real estate economy is growing strong (all across the state) which is great for our market. This is because many of the buyers are purchasing second homes, and they are coming from our 3 largest metro areas.
