NC High Country Market Update July 21, 2014

The first two quarters of the year have come to a close and we are very close to last year's figures in many categories; sales, pricing, etc. But, the one place that we have seen larger growth than anticipated is in the number of homes on the market. If memory serves me well, we have the largest inventory of homes on the market that we have ever had.

This is leading to an increase in our inventory numbers, and sub-sequentially, will increase the average days on the market for a typical home (with traditional marketing). The shining light to all of this, we have a large number or properties Under Contract that should be set to close in the next few weeks.

Keep your eye out on rates, as they will be a large prediction to our market going forth the rest of this year.
