We have some positive signs coming from our market, homes Under Contract remains high and sales continue to stay high. In the past few election years, October and the first several weeks in November were usually slow months for property closings in our area. This year it seems that we are having a much stronger sales season in October.
One important thing to mention, towards the back of the Market Update, you will notice an additional page. I am now tracking monthly sales and graphing the last few years. In the past few weeks, I have had three people ask for this information.
I would like to reiterate that all this data comes from our entire MLS market, which includes Watauga, Avery, Ashe, and portions of surrounding counties.
