NC High Country Market Update November 17, 2014

Good evening,

As many Novembers greet us, this year we have seen the number of properties listed drop almost 10%. While this is not a surprise for many people (see page 18 for more information about monthly sales throughout the winter months), the reduction in sales will assist those who continue to market their properties through the winter.

A recent article talks about recent shifts in the market that Buyers want in their next home. While this technology is something buyers want, let me provide some additional encouragement. A client called me today, their home temperature dropped considerably overnight. This is unusual, their heat system has been set for weeks. They called a local HVAC company who discovered the system was "completely done", they needed a new furnace. The interesting thing, they never left Florida, their Smart Home notified them of their current temperature and they were able to respond quickly.  CLICK HERE FOR ARTICLE
