The spring "Rush" is upon us, up in the High Country. Our MLS had added a large number of properties in the last two weeks, and i expect to see that number climb just a little more as we get closer to summer. While this has caused our Absorption Rate to increase, the number of properties that have sold has also increased. You can see below, we are climbing higher and higher above last years sale transactions. While Mid-May through Mid-June is a slower period for Buyers looking to purchase, our monthly sales data tells are much larger story, Mid-May through Mid-June is when Buyers are making plans to come and visit homes in the area. We see a significant jump in properties being placed Under Contract during the latter half of this time period.
