Statistically, the year is half over. As of July 1st, we have closed 107 more homes (119%) for the first half of 2015 than we did in 2014. We also continue to show good signs because the number of homes Under Contract continues to rise. Currently there are 286 homes Under Contract, until 2015, we have never had over 240 homes Under Contract at one time. With these more promising figures being released by our local Multiple Listing Service, we are seeing more and more homes being placed on the market. We have more residential home inventory than we have had in the last 8+ years (that is as far as the current data is recorded). This has increased our Absorption Rate (creating a longer Days on Market) for the average Seller.
